Airworthiness Engineer
Tasks & accountabilities
Design wiring diagrams, harness drawings and system architecture for new helicopter
completions.
• Support installation, functional and operational tests, ground and flight tests.
• Create electrical load analysis and environmental qualification reports in support of initial
layout and design concept.
• Work with installation manuals.
• Production of aircraft manual supplements including Maintenance Manual and Flight
Manual.
• Translate proposed concept into detailed design in compliance with Certification
requirements, compatible with OEM Type Certificate systems and operational philosophy.
• Define avionic design concept and integration from agreed customer requirement through to
detail design.
• Prepare test procedures and reports for qualification and acceptance testing at module as
well as unit level; specification and/or detailed design of necessary test benches
Required skills
Education
• Higher studies – technical field (Aerospace Engineering).
• Regulations knowledge for EASA Part 145, Part M.
• Knowledge of aviation standards (EN 9110) and regulations and documents issued by AACR (Global Vision) represents
an advantage.
Other languages
• English – advanced
• French language skills represents an advantage
Experience
• In the aviation industry – minimum 3 years
• In the aircraft maintenance field represents an advantage
Digital competences – Microsoft Office

Required skills and experience
• Bachelor degree in Electrical / Aeronautical.
• Minimum 2 years of avionics design experience in an aviation / aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of aviation / aerospace, electrical / avionics design requirements, aviation /
aerospace industry standards and the EASA.
• Proficient in AutoCad and or Catia V.
• Possess clear and concise communication skills working at all levels.
• Autonomy, initiative and ability to work in a dynamic business environment.
• Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.
• Ability to be rigorous, systematic and to work with other engineers in project teams.
• Advanced level of English.
